Nashow Quality Control on Wooden Furniture Production
Wood Quality Verification Process
We conduct thorough quality inspections upon wood arrival before transportation. This initial check is absolutely critical since substandard wood quality would cause significant production challenges downstream. As a manufacturer of children's furniture, we insist on premium-grade wood materials not just for product excellence but also to maintain high production efficiency throughout our manufacturing process.
Precision Cutting Procedures
Plywood cutting is handled by CNC machines which ensure consistent accuracy when operating normally. Solid wood processing presents greater complexity. Our engineering team must continuously monitor and verify all cutting dimensions throughout production, as any deviation at this stage could lead to serious, potentially irreversible quality issues. This phase represents the most crucial aspect of our wooden furniture manufacturing.
Comprehensive Sanding and Painting Protocol
This stage constitutes the most technically demanding part of our production. Proper execution of sanding and repair work fundamentally determines final product quality. For your products, we implement an 8-stage finishing process:
Step 1: Hand-sanding edges/corners after filling imperfections with clear putty
Step 2: Machine-sanding all large surfaces
Step 3: First undercoat application
Step 4: Repeating filling/sanding after first coat
Step 5: Second undercoat application
Step 6: Final sanding after second coat
Step 7: Finish paint application
Step 8: Protective lacquer coating
We've integrated three vital quality checkpoints at Steps 1, 4, and 6 to ensure perfect execution throughout this critical process.
Drying Process Monitoring
We maintain strict drying condition oversight between coating applications. The previous coat must reach optimal dryness - neither too wet nor overly dry - before proceeding. Our NC paints/lacquers require particularly careful timing due to their rapid drying properties. We never allow coatings to sit overnight between applications to maintain perfect curing conditions.
Pre-Packing Quality Assurance
Every component undergoes final verification before packaging:
All wooden parts are inspected
Instruction manuals are verified
Hardware packages are counted
Our packing teams work in pairs with a systematic verification method: each team handles 10 product sets simultaneously. If any discrepancy appears in hardware counts, they must unpack and reinspect all affected units to identify and correct any errors, ensuring 100% accuracy before shipment.
